Question:
I bought a Godfrey Aqua Patio 240PE IO Pontoon boat in June of 97
I have had to replace the pontoons 7 times because they fill up full of
water
as a result the boat has been in dry dock 85% of the time
I have had a marine structural engineer look at the boat and he says
the pontoon structs were not desiged properly. A flaw that Godfrey Marine
has since
corrected on thier newer models which I do not benefit from.
I have written to Godfrey and they basically told me to stick it up my ass
I have been in contact with the Arizona Attorney General office and they
are investigationg
What I need help on is: Has anybody had the same problem as I have and what
Godfrey
do about it as I cannot afford to sue a big company like Gofrey Marine
Answer:
I think one of the best things Larry did was to get Regal to respond to him
(at least partially) through this website. I believe Regal finally
realized that their product was taking a beating and they better practice a
little positive PR before Larry turns the entire website community against
them. Never underestimate the power of mass media.
