Question:
(Fishing) Boat accessory sales needed?
I am looking for somewhere in the Portsmouth / Gosport / Fareham area where
I can buy some cheap bits for my new boat. Recently bought a little Dell
Quay Dory to use just off of Lee beach and am going to need:
Anchor , rope and chain
Oars
perhaps a flare gun
etc...
Got most of the big bits, but didn't know if anyone on here perhaps knew a
good boat Jumble or something similar.
Any help appreciated.
P.S anything coming off of the Solent at the moment.

- DEFINITELY some flares.
Lifejackets, compass, first aid kit. Handheld vhf as soon as you can afford
it and get your licence.
Even if you're only a quarter of a mile off it doesn't take much fog to hide
the coastline.
- license is in the pipeline. Got myself and a friend booked on the skippers
course. As for lifejackets... went and bout a couple of new Crewsavers (New
of course).
So I suppose Radio, first aid kit, flares and some oars are next then.
Any suggestions as to where would be the best place to buy from?

End up sending the rescue boat to somewhere in the Bay of Biscay as opposed
to Pompey harbour
