Wooden Boat Repair Shop

Question:
Can anyone recommend a boat repair shop to work on an old Chris Craft? I'd like to do some work on it my self but now, with two kids, it's getting a little hectic. (Not even to mention my wife).

Preferably somewhere within a reasonable distance from Philadelphia, PA.

Answer:
-Try Rob Barker in Easton PA. 610 253-9210. South Cove Boat Shop.

-I don't remember the name but, there is a shop somewhere on/near Lake Hopatcong, N.J. that does wood bost restorations/sales, and I believe they specialize in Chris Crafts. I'm sure if you contact any boat dealer or marina near Lake Hopatcong they will know the name.

-Thinking more about it, they do old mahogony runabouts/launches, not cabin cruisers/sportfishing boats.

-Yes, this is a 17' runabout I'm talking about. The marina you're talking about used to be called Wayne's Marina. He did good work. But, he sold it about 5 years ago. I don't know if the name is the same, and I don't know how good their work is, or anything about the new owner.

Anyone know anything??
