Question:
Can anyone point me to information on the quality of different makes of
Astro Bass Boat? I can't seem to find any.. ...would love to find a magazine
that "ranked" manufacturers on quality, fishability, etc. Similar to what
Consumer Reports does for other products.
Answer:
-A choose an Astro 2000 dual consol 20' 3" long 93" beam.
I love this boat!!! It has a 150 EFI Mercury and runs around 58 - 60
loaded.
- everyone knows you gt a good quality boat w/a Ranger, Skeeter is good also
but is now owned by Yamaha. Champion is not in the same league. I agree with
the guy/girl who own and Astro. I own a Procraft SP180(now out of production)
which is the sister boats of Astro. This line of boats offers fantastic
quality, the best speed per hp, great fishablity and plenty of storage and they
look great all at a price thats reasonable for todays prices. I fish alot of
tournament on Lake Okeechobee and I'll tell you there is not a boat there with
the same hp that can come close in speed, not to mention blowing away some
higher hp's. The fellow with the Nitro is flat out not being truthful. He's not
taking rough water at 70 and his Nitro is not going 85 period. Take a look at
Astro/Procraft you will not be disappointed.
